Leading through crisis
In April 2021, Brooklyn Center became the center of a national reckoning — and Mike led the city through it: command authority over the police department, council meetings in the streets, and landmark public-safety reform the ACLU called a national model. These programs turn that experience into frameworks your leadership can use — workshops, facilitated conversations, a cohort series, and ongoing advisory engagements.

The Fine Print
How engagements are priced
- Sector rates
- Workshops and facilitated conversations list municipal/nonprofit rates — corporate engagements run ~40% higher. Cohorts and retainers are scoped per organization.
- Travel
- Billed at cost for on-site work outside the Twin Cities metro. Virtual sessions have no travel component.
- Recording & streaming
- Internal recording rights available on request — priced per engagement. Sessions are not recorded by default.
- Custom scenarios
- Full-day and cohort formats can include a crisis tabletop built around your organization's real context (+$2,500).
Every engagement is scoped individually — final pricing depends on format, audience, and preparation. Community organizations working on public safety or racial equity: ask about subsidized rates.
